The 1st generation iPhone (otherwise known as iPhone 1, iPhone 2G and the original iPhone) is the phone that revolutionized the mobile market. Released in 2007, the 1st generation iPhone was welcomed eagerly by many Apple enthusiasts. It sports a single core, 412 MHz processor, 128 megabytes of RAM, and a 165 ppi, 3.50 inch LCD screen. The 1st generation iPhone did not possess a front-facing camera, and lacked many of the functions that later models were equipped with, however it was still a huge step forward for cellular devices and is now symbol of ingenuity for the mobile market.
Since its founding in 1976, Apple Inc. (formerly Apple Computer, Inc.) raised the bar for the technological world, offering superior designs and products for computer software, personal computers, cellular devices and more.
