    First please check if the rubber foam on the iPhone 3G|3GS  digitizer frame is sound. The foam must not be out of shape or damaged. Then check all the screw holes, especially the screw holes for the iPhone 3G charger port. The holes must not be cracked.
    As for the aftermarket 3G|3GS digitizer frame, one must pay special attention to the screw hole for the charging port. It is quite advisable to use the screw to verify that the screw can fit the screw hole quite well so that the LCD and Digitizer assembly can be fastened.
