The third generation iPod nano was released in 2007. This version was smaller that the first two generations, though it was thicker and heavier as well. Diagonally the screen measured 2 inches and was 320 x 240 pixels. The third generation iPod nano was available in all the previous colors, and had new features, such as, cover flow, video playback, and new iPod games.
