The iPod Touch, also known as the iTouch, was first released in 2007 as a portable music and media player. It was closely modeled after the iPhone series, but designed for entertainment purposes rather than as a mobile cellular device. Unlike the iPhone series, however, the iPod Touch fifth generation comes in more colors than just black and white similar to other portable Apple media players. The iPod touch was unique compared to other media players because of its full touch-screen and lack of physical controls (other than volume, home and power buttons).
Since its founding in 1976, Apple Inc. (formerly Apple Computer, Inc.) raised the bar for the technological world, offering superior designs and products for computer software, personal computers, cellular devices and more.
