    The blackberry torch 9800 LCD screen is currently available in two versions: their codes are respectively LCD-26252-001/111 and LCD-26252-002/111. These two versions are not compatible with each other. Do not forget this difference and choose the right version before buying the 9800 LCD screen.

    The two versions of blackberry torch 9800 LCD screen look a little different. While both versions come with a port on the back of the screen that is used to connect the 9800 digitizer flex cable ribbon, the 002/111 version torch LCD features a small IC. Please also note this difference when choosing the 9800 LCD screen.

  • Blackberry Torch 9800 LCD Screen Installation Special Notes:

    The blackberry torch 9800 LCD screen should be embedded into the metal frame connecting with the blackberry 9800 front cover. A special adhesive is needed to bond the LCD screen with frame. Besides, there is groove inside the metal frame used to embed the LCD. The groove has the same shape and size with the LCD screen. If the metal frame is out of shape in some way, the 9800 LCD screen will not be successfully installed.
    When installing the blackberry torch 9800 LCD screen, one needs to put the LCD flex cable ribbon through the hole on the metal frame. The ribbon is wide and short. It comes with a buckle on the top end. So it is not easy to handle the ribbon when installing the LCD screen with the metal frame. Try to handle it carefully in order to prevent damaging the ribbon.

  • Blackberry Torch 9800 LCD Screen Compatibility:

    Please Note that the Blackberry 002/111 version torch 9800 LCD screen is not compatible with the 001/111 torch.

  • Blackberry Torch 9800 LCD Screen Storage Guidelines:

    Please do not store any LCD including the blackberry torch 9800 LCD screen in humid environment. It is advisable to place the blackberry 9800 torch LCD screen in seal bag and wrap the bag in bubble wrap. When placing the screen in rigid box, try to place it on edge.
