    The LG Xenon GR500 LCD Screen features a quite unique backlight flex cable, because the backlight and the LCD screen ribbon are factory adhered as a unit. Usually，the LCD flex cable and the backlight flex cable are separate for most LCD screens.

    The LG GR500 flex cable ribbon comes with a tiny hole. This design is very practical. With this hole, the LCD screen can be more accurately and steadily installed.
    The LG GR500 LCD Screen also incorporates a very special technology to soften the backlight. It reduces the possibility of hurting the eyes. This is one of the reasons why one may feel quite comfortable when staring at the Xenon GR500 LCD screen.

    LG GR500 LCD Installation Special Notes:

    The LG GR500 screen is very slim. Try not to press it hardly during installation. Besides, the LCD screen incorporates a special POL that can increase the brightness of the screen. However, the POL may get scratched easier that normal POL. So try to be careful to prevent any damage during installation.
    The GR500 LCD flex cable ribbon is also quite slim. It is made of two layers of FPC. When disassembling the LG GR500 screen, keep in mind that disconnect the LCD screen flex cable from the motherboard first, and then can move to the next step.
