After watching the take apart video, let's review the guidelines for disassembling this amazing Motorola droid X. Step 1: remove the Motorola droid X battery cover and the battery.Use your finger to push the battery door upward and lift it.Then pull the ribbon to take out the battery. Step 2: Remove The Top Cover And U-coverRemove the 2 Screws on the rear cover. Then remove the 4 screws which are hidden behind the top cover and the U-cover. Step3: Separate The Motorola droid X Back Housing.Pry The Back Housing With Triangle Tool. Then slide the tool back and forth gently, but do not slide over the position where the camera button is, because the LCD flex cable and the digitizer flex cable gather there. Now use your finger to take the back housing off. Step 4: Remove The Motorola droid X Motherboard.Unfasten all the clips you can see, then Use Tweezer To Take off The Antenna. But the Motorola droid X camera is connected with the motherboard, so don’t bother to take it off now. Before removing the motherboard, there is still a flex cable needs to be disconnected. Now, the motherboard can be put aside. Step 5: separate the Motorola droid X LCD, the Motorola droid X digitizer touch screen and the middle plate.First, remove all the screws on the middle plate. Then, remove the digitizer flex cable, and disconnect all the small clips inside.Ok, the LCD, the middle plate and the digitizer are separated. Alright, the Motorola droid X is taken apart into pieces.
