  • About The Blackberry Bold 9000 LCD Screen:

    The blackberry bold 9000 LCD screen is available in three versions that come with different codes. The codes are LCD-12360-001/004, LCD-12360-002/004 and LCD-12360-003/004 respectively. The three versions look quite the same except that the 9000 LCD with the code LCD-12360-001/004 features a tiny hole on the flex cable ribbon while the other two versions come without the hole on the ribbon.

    The blackberry bold 9000 LCD screen is adhered together with the glass Lens as a unit. It is a good idea to put a screen protector on the glass lens to prevent scratch.

  • Blackberry Bold 9000 LCD Screen Installation Special Notes:

    The blackberry bold 9000 LCD flex cable ribbon is designed with a buckle that is to be fastened with the port on the motherboard. One may need to slightly press the buckle so as to fasten it on the board. Please align the buckle and the port before pressing in order to prevent damaging the two parts. Also note that the port lies on the back of the motherboard. When one needs to take the ribbon off the motherboard during replacement, try to do it gently. The ribbon may be easily broken by proper handling.
    The blackberry 9000 LCD usually comes with the front speaker holder on the top part of the screen. The holder is adhered on the screen by the normal double faced adhesive, thus may not be steady enough. Please check if the holder is still on the LCD screen before installation.

  • Blackberry Bold 9000 LCD Screen Compatibility:

    The blackberry bold 9000 LCD screens with the code LCD-12360-002/004 and LCD-12360-003004 can be replaced by the LCD screens with one of all the there codes, whereas the blackberry 9000 LCD screen with the code LCD-12360-001/004 can not be replaced by the LCD screens with one of the other two codes. Please check the code before buying.

  • Blackberry Bold 9000 LCD Screen Storage Guidelines:

    Place the blackberry 9000 LCD screen in the seal bag and store it in normal temperature and away from intensive sunlight. Check and verify that the flex cable ribbon is not bent during storage.
