The video above is an guideline about how to take apart the Samsung A887:

Step one: first turn off the phone, and remove the battery door as well as battery

Step two: Remove the A887 back housing.

First remove the 6 screws on the back housing with a tool. Please note to unlock all the small clips inside the Samsung A887. Then separate the A887 back housing with a tool.

Step three: Remove the motherboard.

First take the volume key away and disconnect all the visible flex cables. Please do not hush to remove the motherboard now, because there is still one flex cable under the motherboard. Disconnect this ribbon and finish removing the motherboard.

Step four: Remove the A887 middle plate.

There are two ribbons in the visual. Disconnect them before removing the antenna. It¡¯s a sticky work to separate the middle plate, try to be careful as possible. Then move around the middle plate to fit it.

Step five: Remove the A887 LCD.

During removing, it is advisable to start from the earpiece¡¯s side. This is in order to avoid breaking the A887 LCD.

Now the Samsung A887 is taken aprart into pieces.
