  • About The Samsung Rugby A837 LCD Screen:

    The Samsung Rugby LCD is a double-faced screen. Two flex cable ribbons stretch out from the top and bottom sides. They could be seen from the front side of the Rugby LCD. Seen from the back side, the A837 LCD screen is wrapped by a sliver metal frame. There is a long and slim black IC at the bottom of the A837 internal LCD screen. This IC functions to communicate the information from the motherboard. Of course, most LCD screens function in the similar way.

    The side with the external LCD of the Samsung A837 is structured a little complicatedly. The black external LCD IC lies at the bottom of the LCD. Above the IC there is a golden connector that is used to connect the A837 motherboard flex cable ribbon with the PCB. A grey port lies above the connector. It is used to fasten the mother board flex cable. The blue area beside the port is the PCB. Many IC, resistors and capacitors are distributed on the PCB.

    The Samsung Rugby LCD incorporates both the external and internal LCD screens. The external screen is welded on the back of the internal LCD. The A837 external LCD flex cable ribbon is more vulnerable than other normal LCD ribbons. So please handle it attentively.
    The port on the back of the Samsung A837 LCD is made of plastic. It may drop off easily during installing or disconnecting the Samsung A837 motherboard. Try to prevent removing it carelessly.
    The Rugby LCD screen features many resistors and capacitors on the PCB. Every component is necessary. Besides, the LCD IC is quite narrow and crisp. Don’t apply too much strength on it.

  • Samsung Rugby A837 LCD Screen Storage Guidelines:

    Please store the Samsung A837 LCD screen in dry place. If the A837 LCD is put in moist environment, the backlight area may get dark which can worsen the display effect.
