    HTC EVO 4G LCD Screen Installation Special Notes:

    The Evo 4g LCD Flex Cable Ribbon is small. The ribbon needs to be bent by 180 degree during installation, so it is most likely to be broken by even a slight mistake. The following handling process may be helpful. Firstly, the ribbon should be moistened with a little ethyl alcohol or other harmless liquid. Then it should be gently bent with the thumb and fastened to the motherboard.
    Before disassembling the lcd, it must be checked if the ribbons of the digitizer and the lcd are put off the motherboard.
    The Evo 4g LCD Flex Cable Ribbon is rather slim. It may be cracked easily under certain pressure. Therefore, when the front housing is assembled to the lcd, the four corners should be slightly pressed to keep uniform force and thus prevent cracking the screen.

    The screen should be placed on its end and sheltered from the sunlight. Also it should be put in bubble bags to protect it from damp.
